Ok, this may not be strictly about woodworking, but these rolls of tape in my shop are driving me nuts! I got masking tape, painter's tape, duct tape of various colors, packaging tape of paper and plastic, double stick tapes, carpet tape, teflon tape, electrical tape... ad nauseam.

Does anyone have a neat idea for storage and dispensing? Most of mine are 3" cores. I've fooled around with making cores, etc., but haven't found anything that works well.

Thanks for any ideas!

Most of mine are on a 1x4x4' with screws every 5-6" on both sides and a hole on the end. The hole slips over a screw high up in the rafters so that the board can just be reached from below. Lo tech but it's out of the way. I've got a similar setup for hanging paint brushes up overhead.

I've been meaning to make one as another member posted. . . 6" drain PVC, cut in half and mounted horizontal to the floor. The rolls of tape just sit in the upturned half.
