It sure is wonderful to be surprised at Christmas!
We were sitting around the tree and the grandkids had opened most of their goodies when my daughter grabbed one sort of large bag by the towel underneath it and pulled it over to me. Put my hand in the bag and felt burlap, then a horn shape and sure enough a brand spanking new anvil (about 65 pounds.) Now I can put the railraod tracks back under the lathe.
I had only mentioned an anvil once when my granddaughter and I were watching the blacksmith at Silver $ city, but she remembered and told my daughter.
She found it in Springdale Arkensas last week.
I am one lucky devil
