Ok, I'll bite, is there some history/secret meaning behind the Frog tatoo or were you just really drunk?:D

no just wanted a cool frog. and the frog eating a frog was just too much to resist. they don't let you get drunk before tattoo's anymore. though I can sure understand the reason to get drunk before.

Feel free to ignore me if I'm being too nosy, but I've always wondered: How long would that take, and how much did that cost (and what is the approx. size, it looks quite large). Did it hurt like heck?

BTW, I think the eye came out real nice. Has a great 3D look to it.

it is not as big as it looks about 4"x5" about as small as you can get and get good detail. the trick of tattoos is larger the better for detail.
as far as pain the black outline is easy the color hurts. not horrible but it can sure sting. if he could have done it without a break it would have been better. the soap they use to clean it often is what really stings.
this one took about 3 hours total about 1/2 hour to draw it out and work out the design. cost was 300.00
about the last one I will get I think. unless some other really cool thing strikes me. but there are tools with my name on them that I could use more (G)
I had taken my 18" daughter in for her first tattoo and she could not hold still so he had to stop early. he had time and I had this ugly tattoo I did on myself when 15 I had wanted covered up. got a cool gecko on the other arm now but that one still needs color.
they can hurt for a week or so. but this one is not bad at all. the itching is far worse i think. my body reacts to ink a bit so the itching can be bad.

It's in a thread from earlier in the year in this same OT Forum. Picture was taken just outside our kitchen door.
