I bought a Captive ring tool and took it for a test drive last night. It's a finial for practice.

I'm gonna have to learn to do those. I have a project for two goblets with CR for a wedding ceremony. Yup volunteered again.

Nice work! How did you get that ring on there- I don't think it will fit over the finial ends, can you just take that ring off so we can get a better look at it- LOL :p
