Hunters that is lol

Had a couple rush orders and just finished them up yesterday. The first is a "Viper", padauk pot with a yew and osage striker. The second is a cypress pot with and osage striker.....

I have always wondered how those things actually work.

If nothing else they would look nice in a cabinet if the hunter didn't want to "hurt" them.

Not dumb, I had to learn how to use them not that long ago :) You hold the striker (stick part) like a pencil and scratch it on the surface in varying patterns to make turkey sounds. The surface on these are slate on the Viper and copper on the cypress. They can be made with a variety of surfaces.
