I just wanted to share some of the pictures of us setting up my new 3520. I especially want to thank Bill Kost and Doug Bartos, fellow Chesapeake Woodturners for helping set it up.

I'll post pics of some turnings, soon.

I could say something about the need to read the manual upside down; but in the spirit of the Christmas season, I'll pass -- or wait til January. :D

Congrats on the new lathe. I'm a little envious that you actually had real helpers to get it setup. Enjoy.

Congrats on the new lathe John. I'm with Paul, my back hurts just looking at the headstock down at floor level.

When I moved mine I took the motor off the headstock. Couldn't image moving both together by myself.

I see you did not install the guard. Mine is sitting in a corner.

Has anyone ever found a good use for that thing?

Wait-you actually READ the instructions ??? Real turners don't need no stinkin' instructions-upside down or not.:D;)

Hope you enjoy that beast !
