OOps! Too many moving parts I guess. #3 is another bowl of my own design. And then I made an orniment with the FLW design.
Happy Holidays.

WOW Walt! Nice, nice job. Do you offer classes? I've seen the first one you did somewhere before. Maby a magazine or another site? I've been trying to figure out that pattern in the bottom for some time now. This is going in my favorites.:)

WOW!!!

These are beautiful. Glad to see another segmented turned here. Welcome to the group. I always wanted to try a "cube" pattern like the one in your first pic, but haven't been able to figure out how. Perhaps you would care to share? Keep the pic's coming. People like you keep the rest of us inspired.

Thanks for all the fantastic comments! I do appreciate them! I am glad you all like them. Now if I can just get my head through the door way. I do have a power point file on how I screwed up and then re-did the FLW vase but am not sure how to present it on this site. Any body know a way?

Unless the powers that be can convince the forum software to allow .ppt files, I'm not sure that you can. If you zip it, you can attach it. If you have a website where you could host it, you could link it. I'm not sure that you can get photobucket.com to accept a ppt file, but it might be worth a shot. I'll try it for you if you'd like and don't want to open your own photobucket freebie account.

The last and worst option is to just tell folks that if they're interested (and I would be!) to email it to those who are interested.

Some random thoughts... Back to the woodshop for me. Miles to turn before I ship.

OK! Now that you've shown us how well you turn/saw, I guess that I'll have to turn my lathe into another boat anchor. Dang! That is some swell work, and welcome aboard (hear the pipe?).
