Well, my older son (Caleb) needed to do a special project for a class and wanted to do a pen. So, we went through the whole process today. He wrote a report and has the pen ready, he is going to go ahead and make it a gift also for the teacher.

Dan, he did a story board (more or less) with pictures. Here is my best attempt at putting it up: (Mr. Fogg is the teachers name)

Great idea for a report! And a nice job, both on the pen and the report.

I wonder if the gift will influence the grade?:D

That is a fine looking pen.

That's funny My name is John and I look forward to the day when my oldest son Caleb turn's his first project. He's 6 now and could use some help with his listening skills so the power tool side of the shop isn't open to him yet. Santa will be getting him some hand tools this year though.

Very nice pen Caleb, a neat idea for a report too. I'll bet doing the pen was more fun than doing the report. Keep it up.
