Stain

I just did some quick animal ornaments. I used some inexpensive lite plywood from the hobby shop and coated both sides with a Minwax oilbased stain. Just a simple brush on and wipe off.
The wood cut alot cleaner and with almost no smoke residue or flareups. Looks alot better than the bare wood too.

Add your favorite clear coat to both sides of the wood before cutting. The ornaments will be easy to clean and I think look even better.

Thanks much, couldn't scrounge up l.e.d. lights in time for the project I wanted to make for them, those will be a cute alternative:) They have two that look like little footballs, spoiled rotten of course:)

Dave I tried to open the Doxie file with Corel 12 and I get a blank page?

What am I doing wrong?

I am doing a Dox wood sign tonight with V Carve for a customer.
