First I added a remote E-Stop switch. I bought the parts from McMaster-Carr for about $40. The expense comes from using a washdown rated enclosure and switch contacts rated for DC. I added magnets to move it around, but I still need to secure the cord to the back of the lathe.

Next I made a tool holder I can move around on the lathe bed. I modified a design from an old Wood mag.
