Thought i'd share my very latest project that turned out to be easier than i thought and look better than i thought. I built these for my home, they are alder and the wife did the finishing. it's a new house and we lived w/o any mirrors for about 3 months.

Great job on the mirrors, how did you mount them to the frames?

the joinery was simple -- i just used the same frame and panel bits that i used to build the cabinet doors in the rest of the house (soon i post some pictures of my first kitchen cabinets).
as far as attaching the mirrors to the wood -- i just routed a rabbet and then let the mirror provider glue 'em in with silicone.
after 3 months with no mirrors ... i was shaving using a small hand mirror ... anything mounted on the wall would have looked good (only wish the guy looking back was better looking). :)
