I am a construction project manager, and my company will be doing a remodel for a retail store in North York. Does anyone know how I can find either the web site or phone number to the building department in this area? I am trying to get permits and my typical US method of doing a search for the city and state is not working. Thank you in advance.

John,
When I read the initial post I too saw New York instead of North York. Must be some kind of mind trick.

Guess you didn't get the memo about New York seceding from the US and moving to Canada.
Missing the big bold CANADA in the thread heading comes from reading to fast and not paying close attention to detail. Gets me in trouble all the time.

David B,
No offense intended, I have a supplier, Van Rob, in North York that I visit on occasion. If New York moved up there, my wife would insist on coming with me, and then the pocketbook would ache! Course, then I could visit the Metropolitan (?) museum with its early american wing and all the fine furniture (droool!).
