Equipment warranty after expiration?

How is the customer service after the warranty expires on equipment, if problems arise then? I've narrowed down to Grizzly, Jet and Steel City. The question will apply more to Grizzly as their warranty period is the shortest.

If it's Steel City, your customer service won't change after the 5-year warranty period. They are committed to customer service, so any time you call them, you'll get a real person instead of a phone tree or voice mail (unless after hours). You'd be amazed at how customer-specific the SCTW guys are. They want your business, and they want to KEEP your business.

i have only delt with grizzly and they did good by me, i bought some jointer blades and the lady one the phone gave me a free blade hoan. they also had all he answers for all the questions i asked. my only complaint is the tools are made in i think tiawan. but every other brand is made over there atleast the bigger tools like tablesaw, planers etc. i know when i upgrade tools im going back to grizzly.
