This is a piece of Padauk and Ebonu finial 9" tall and 5" in diameter. The quarter on the picture is to make it look smaller :D:D:D
The real Size is 3" 7/8 x 1"5/8 diameter. The finial is 1/16" at the 2 slimest part and the ball at top is 1/8" round. Fun project but it took more than anticipated (as usual)
Welcome comments and tought good, bad and in between.

Very nice Alex! Pretty wood and a nice finish! I do like the detail work on your finial! Without the quarter for a size reference - I would have gone with your first dimensions! Nice work!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. I'm happy with it but not 100% ( not saying this as crying) I have 48 more vials to play with so lets see the nest ones. They are kind of fun and it good for designig forms in small scale that could be the prototype of a larger piece.
Thanks again for looking
