I was looking at Arizona Silhouette's site last night and came across the blue denim turning blanks.

Has anyone here turned these? Curious as to your experience up or down.

Go there and click on the picture. A bigger picture of the denim pen. Kinda cool looking. If gives an idea of how he made it.

Dean, this obviously isn't a pen, but the stem is turned from a demin pen blank. I'd say that it's not the most cooperative material - quite chipy.

Thanks, Malcolm. That's the sort of feedback I was looking for! The link posted elsewhere on this thread was for someone who build his own out of jeans. Not quite the same. If they used the flexible CA, it might be less chippy than the denim drenched in acrylic.

Didn't someone do something like this but with shredded US bills once upon a time??? Do I remember seeing that or did I just invent it?

And I echo Bob's comment, Wow! Lots of interesting twists and turns in that one. For the martini drinker who's had too many. :)
