I haven't posted in months - we've been deeply engaged in housebuilding. Here are a few progress pics. I've done a fair amount of work myself - most notably the trim, kitchen cabinets and floors

The floors are white oak , just sanded and oiled initially ( I will urethane a bit later on).
THe kitchen cabs are cherry frames with quilted maple bookmatched panels. The whole process of making the doors and drawer fronts was very interesting and enjoyable for the most part, though definitely a labour of love.
