Simple Jewelry Box

This is a a simple box I did for a friend. It is about 6 inches wide and about 2.75 inches high. Made from spalted walnut.

Very nice ! The wood is great ! Is that from one solid piece? Is the inside routed or cut with the band saw?

Hey guys,

The lid sits flush with some with some cleats I made. The work was mostly done with a scroll saw. The sections were cut out, a drill hole in each section then the blade goes though the hole and the section cut out. It has a 1/8 maple bottom that was cut flush when I cut the outside.

I'd take more pictures of it but I sold it this morning for $40.00. :D
