After reading the previous post "box miesters" and watching the video on inlaid dovetail joints, the thought struck me..Inlaid box joints..Something possioble with the equipment I have(maybe?)
Would this require different thickness tablesaw blades?
I also recently read a article in a magazine about boxjoints and a sinple jig to make them. Any thoughts? I,ve never seen a inlaid box joints and was wondering why?

Should be possible with different thicknesses of dado combinations and blade heigth. Post some pics when you get it figured out. Im interested. I think its possible with the Leigh dovetail jigs and box joint templates. I'll have to try it with the d4r and f2 sometime.
Oh... and Dave, welcome. I know where Akron is.

You can do it by hand too. Bit of a challenge but you can do it.

I was beginning to think i,d get no interest.
Was going to try a pair of simple box joint jigs and my stacked dado set.I,ll begin tomorrow and I,m sure i,ll have questions.
BTW I will become a contributer very soon, this kind od information and comradre is priceless.
One last question..Hows sasafrass and Walnut sound for contrasting material?
