Hello,

I just got a lightly used Jet 14" Deluxe BS with riser installed. Because it was a show model I'm treating it like I'm assembling from scratch. I can't seem to get the wheels co-planar. The top wheel needs to move about 1/32" to 1/16" toward the back of the blade. I put a straight edge across the wheels and only get three points of contact. Is this normal? When I spin the wheels by hand the blade wants to run a bit forward of center on the bottom wheel.
It's not bad but I'm a perfectionist who's never used or setup a BS.

Thanks,
-Rocko

Just use the knob on the back of the upper wheel. Losen up the wing nut and adjust the knob then retighten the wingnut.

I still only get three points of contact with a straight edge when adjusting that knob. The straight edge touches both sides of the top wheel and the bottom of the lower wheel.
The top wheel needs to move toward that knob just a bit....I think. Correct?

On my Jet 14", the bottom wheel had to come out quite a bit. I used shims I purchase from Iturra. Worked like a champ.
