In addition to Tandy's already mentioned:

These guys are good. They require a $25 membership fee to get wholesale pricing if you don't have a reseller's ID. Free shipping on orders over $75. Very helpful in picking out leather appropriate for your needs.

This website is really not great (you have to download a PDF of their paper catalog and call to order) but they typically have reasonable prices. (Leather starts on p109)

These guys are GREAT but you must have a wholesale/reseller ID to order from them. You have to order the catalog to shop from them - the website doesn't really have anything (http://www.weaverleather.com/catalogrequest.html)

I have not ordered from these guys for several years but they were really good to me.

Good luck.

I would be interested in this as well, and am hoping that CW McCellan pops in and posts. My father is a leatherworker, and Tandy (the only place around here), sucks compared to the leather he used to get. That place burned down quite some time ago and was never rebuilt.

Occasionally he will get a decent hide or two through his work, but since it is a damaged freight recovery place, normally the where from information is gone.
