About a month ago I was asking about the Fein MultiMaster, everyone who commented on it raved about its usefullness and how well built it was. Last week I lucked out and found a "like new" FMM 250Q at an unbelievable price (125.00) :D:D and used it for the first time today cutting out the baseboard for the built-in bookcase that I had made for a client............well everyone was exactly right. This thing is going to have many uses but what I will probalby use it most for is instances just like today. It took me all of 2 minutes to remove what was needed and I was able to get a straight clean cut with it. Now I just need to find a case for this thing.

Thanks for the advice everyone, this is another instance where the Creek has been worth more than what we contribute!!!!!!!!!!

Yea that is one tool I don't use much but when I need it there is nothing else I had to trim off 2" on a 8/4 oak doorstep this past weekend. Glad I had it or I would have had to uninstall a door to get to it.

Sounds a good tool for a kitchen installer.

I just completely tiled my home and used my Fein tool to trim the bottoms of casement moldings around all the doors. Worked like a charm.

No doubt about it,nothing else does what this tool does, question of how often you want to do it.

Storage box not terribly elegant but does the job.

Here are a couple of boxes. The Jigsaw box was made by my Father in 1956.

I Love mine. Used it on my and my sister in laws bathroom marble and linoleum remodel job.

I was able to strip up linoleum tile in a 100 sq ft bathroom in about 20 minutes.
