Honey Locust Purpleheart Finial Box

[George Guadiane]

The box is turned from a piece of iron stained honey locust, including sap wood.
It was suggested that I should add a finial... I did.
How do you like me NOW?
The box is now 2 5//8 inches in diameter by 5 1/4 inches high. oil sanded and finished with burnished bee's wax.

Wow George - that sure changes everything! Very nice indeed! Even with the soft look of the wood the piece now has a more 'formal' look to it! I like it!
