Making a deal on some shaper cutters. Has anyone used the aluminum alloy heads with the carbide inserts? I've used the carbide inserts before but in steel cutter heads.

I use CMT's AL cutter head with HSS blades, seems to work well. Not exactly what you are asking, but FYI.
