Is anyone using this dovetail jig? And if so, what do you like and or dislike about it? I have a chance to buy one from a family member for 150.00 which seems like a good deal. Just don't want to get it and realize I've thrown away 150.00. He only used it to set up half blind tails and realized he doesn't like the angle (7* instead of 14*) or the spacing (wider than he likes). All reviews I've read sounds good but wanted to talk to someone who is personally using it. This kit comes with both the dovetail & straight bits and both collars also has two templates. So give it to me - good, bad or indifferent!

Troy,
I don't want to cause any friction between family, but this same jig is selling on Amazon for $149 with free shipping.

Sounds like a good price unless you want to consider Tools-Plus which has at $137 or Amazon which has at times on sale for even less.

I just received one yesterday from Amazon for 129.00. Free shipping. Ordered it on 11-24 and it was on my front porch yesterday. I have a few drawers to make for my new kitchen project and I couldn't pass on this deal since I have seen nothing but good reviews on this jig.

I saw the 4210 at Lowes yesterday. I think it was around $120. They didn't have the 4212 in stock.

I just bought the 4212 on amazon last week for $120. It was listed for $129 and I bought the dremel engraver for $15 to recieve 20% off the dovetail jig.

It was definitely the 4212. I've looked at it several times.

Sorry, disregard. I misread your post.
