Looks nice. I do, however, find that it's a little too close to the couch. :D

Nice job Jim! I'll bet that was fun to wrestle that monster from the shop to the house!

Bob
Shop is in the basement had to dissemble the whole unit and reassemble in the garage (glue and Screw) , added a set of wheels to aid in moving the monster around. Was able to use the spray booth at work to put the finnish on so that helped (5 coats Satin Laquer) . The Wrestling came into play trying to move the unit into our bedroom , ended up removing trim from 2 doorways in order to get around the corner. Still was alot of fun .

Nice job! How much smaller did you have to make the drawers to compensate for the drawer glides?

Ken , the accuride slides I used required 1/2 " on a side , I used 22" slides and the drawers measure 21 9/16 deep , kind of tight but I wanted to use all availble space. The slides use a face frame kit to allow for mounting .
Make for a very smooth running drawer, and they are full extention slides.

Jim,

This is just a great piece of furniture. I know you'll enjoy it for years.

I agree, full extension drawer slides are the cat's meow.

Nice job Jim! It's very similar to the armoir that I built for myself as a dresser as part of the six piece bedroom set that I built a few years ago.
