I'm trying to decide on a router table set up, I like the Bench Dog cast iron Pro-Max, but I have a Delta X5 Unisaw, which has a big plastic object right below where the table would replace the current table extension, my question is could I drill throught the front and rear rail & bolt this to add additional rigidity to the extension and then bolt the Bench Dog to the end of the exixting table?

As long as you can properly support the weight of the BenchDog top without it sagging, you can pretty much attach it where you want it to be. On my slider, for example, I placed it where the original outfeed support was beyond the blade. It's physically screwed to the "back" of the cast iron top, but on the short side of the BD top. I built support for the other end as part of the project. You can see what I did in the thread link below, but keep in mind that my particular saw format is different than your cabinet saw. Your adaptation will be a little different, but my point is to show you that you can be creative to solve this puzzle!
