The Cherry is 8x4 finished with Shellawax.

Very nice. I especially like the oak, the foot looks great with that shape.

Really nice looking bowls Pete! Normally I just love cherry - but I have to say the oak bowl here steals the show! Great form and beautiful grain! Is that curl I see? Very nice Pete!

Those are a couple of beauties Pete! I like the douple rim look on the cherry bowl and, like everyone else has said, the form and foot on the oak are perfect. That's some cool wood too, sort of curly oak!

Very nice Pete! That oak sure dances in the moonlight. Both are very nice pieces.:)

Thanks for the comments!

Curt, that is the same wood that "guarded" the ornament I sent you.

Pete those are beauties! I like the rim on the cherry a lot and I'm going to go against the flow here and say I like the 'inset' foot on the cherry best!

Both are well done. That's some interresting figure in the oak.
