Great Bowl...only one week of practice???

Yeah...I wish I could say I made this... :oIt is the work of artist Rene Megroz. He is a local artist and has done carvings and turnings for years and has exibited at Festival of the Arts along with numerous other exhibits. It is quite large !

I went on line and found more of Rene's work...Interesting carving! He is also listed as having work in the White House! It is nice to see old friends doing well!

That's a really awesome bowl, Mark. René's style is very nice...comfortable. I like how this deep vessel closes slightly as you move to the rim. It's a subtle detail that adds delicacy.
