Problems w/Gros Stabil parallel clamps

I just bought six (6) 12" and six (6) 24" Gros Stabil parallel clamps through Amazon. Having already owned a couple of these clamps, I really liked them and wanted more. However, three of each (12" and 24") are no longer able to tighten properly. The lower portion of the clamp simply slides down the bar. Has anyone else had this problem (with these or any other clamps)? Does anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? I have already contacted Amazon and they have been very helpful and accomodating in sending me replacements. (More are on the way.) However, I am wondering if the replacements will have the same defect. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I've had that problem on a couple of them. Basically you'll have to take the clamp head apart and reposition a washer that's slipped out of position. Can't recall what the orientation is supposed to be but put a working one next to it and re-assemble the bad one the same way. It's maybe a 5-10 minute job.
