This is my first project post (but not my first project). it is a simple plant stand that i copied from one of the wood magazines earlier this year. this was my first attempt at making curved legs, which i did with five 3/16" laminations, urethane glue, and plywood bending form. the legs turned out pretty good, except for the one on the right in picture 3. i mixed the glue color too light and you can see the laminations. any advice on how to prevent in the future? i especially like the grain pattern on the lower shelf, but i wish i had the insight to have put it on top! all comments and suggestions are welcome. i'm here to learn. thanks for looking

That looks great. You did a great job matching the grain on the top.

The stand does look very well done. My only suggestion is to rotate the top 15-20 degrees clockwise so the grain direction on the top lines up with the direction of the shelf. In the first picture it sort of looks to me like the top is trying to rotate away from the shelf.

. My only suggestion is to rotate the top 15-20 degrees clockwise.

Yes, i also realized that afterwards. next project!
