Here is the last of the cherry I have from previous posts. 8.25 x 2.25 Finished with Antique Oil, wipe on poly, and buffed. Pictures still have a lot to be desired but it's what I'm able to do for now.

Very impressive wood Tony! Great looking bowl! I like the form and finish! Very nice work! If that's the last of the cherry - what are you going to do now?

That looks like some spalted cherry I had a while back. Very colorful and not much in the way of punky. Nice piece!:)

Charlie, yes there is just a wee bit of the sap wood in this one.

Steve, that's the last of the cherry from that particular log, but I have a couple of large crotch sections already split that I need to figure out what to do with. I may save them and bring them with me when I go up to visit Bill Grumbine for some lessons.

Yea, lots of WOW on that one , is it "pie" cherry do you know? Very cool, I like it , I like cherry pie, I like pie, I like cherry / chocolate pie, oh , am I hungry, now look what ya done.;):D
