Abernathy Vise and Tool Company D-70

I have a Abernathy Vise and was wondering if anyone has any information about the vise. It is a D-70 and weighs about 25 lbs. It has a dog in the front jaw and a quick release nut on the threaded shaft. It was manufactured in Chicago. Any information as to when it might have been made and possibly its value would be appreciated. I had it cleaned and primered today. I probably will list it on this site later this month. The original paint appears to be red

hi garyI saw one for sale a while back on the auction place. It didn't go for a lot if I remember correctly. I don't think there was a lot to google on them except they were bought buy jorgenson or somesuch. If the price was right, it would be a cool thing to have in my opinion.
