LOL! Ya gotta love "cabinetry and trim on the hoof"! Congrats on a fine load of lumber and yes, you do have a few more steps to accomplish to get to the end of the project. :D

So THAT'S what some assembly required means. Now I know.

Hey David

We're practically on different ends of the continent but great minds do think alike. I've got a similar stack of quarter sawn red oak that I am using to build my son's cabinets & trim. Good luck and have fun. To me, there's no greater woodworking accomplishment than taking wood from the rough state to the finished product.

In our case we will be going all the way from having had the logs sawn on site with a band saw mill to the finished product. We had our oak kiln dried down to a moisture content of 6-8% at 180 degrees. What's the drying requirements like up there in Canada?

Hey thanks for posting. Makes me feel better, considering my trim boards and flooring and interior doors look about the same. Nice to know there are more nutty people on the planet, ha!ha!

I never thought that much about knock-down cabinets until I saw yours. What kind of fasteners did they send?

I have never been in the same room with that much cherry. Very nice stack. That would go four about 10 grand here in the Phoenix.
