Most of us have seen the Fine Woodworking special edition on Woodturning Basics.
I find the rim and foot on the bowl in the cover photo held by William Macy. How is that made? Other than skill, is there a special sequence? Tools other than standard? Do any members do this type of technique on a regular basis?
