Ok, so i'm building this oval dinning table with a pedestal base and i'm trying to decide how wide the base needs to be so it won';t tip over easily.
It's 36" wide and 72" long (30" high). The base is 29" long but i'm stumped on how wide i need it to be. Is there a formula or ratio?
