Hi there group I have been lurking and reading on the site for awhile now and have been contemplating the purchase of a table saw. There is a 1995 Delta Unisaw available near me in decent condition for $575, it has a unifence and 3-hp motor.

I was wondering if you guys thinks this sounds like a good deal or do you feel the price is too high?

Thank you for your advice.

I can not tell much from the pictures, but if everything is in good working order, it sounds like a great deal to me.

If it's in good condition, I think it's a great deal.

That looks like my Uni....I bought mine around 1995 and it still looks like new and has same belts and original equipment. That's a good deal if everything is in working order.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Check to make sure that it is not 3-phase though if you don't have the ability to handle it. I don't know if they even made a 3hp one in 3-phase but it never hurts to make sure.

Considering a new saw goes for about $1800 and they don't wear out easily. I think it is a great deal. I got a Jet unisaw for about $750 and I thought that was a good deal. After 10 years of use, as long as you take care of it, you could probably sell it for the same amount you bought it for.

Looks like mine - a great saw. You can set a router in the right end of the table....

If it look like it's in good condition, I would buy it!

I'd say run, don't walk, to get it. Even if it is 3-phase, you could put a static convertor on it for under $200 and that's still an overall good deal.
