New problem!

Tonite I was planning the cypress for my cabinet doors, it is not rough sawn already surfaced but to thick, and the grain was like peeling up as it came out of the planner! I have never seen this before, I just finished planning some oak and maple and it was fine so I dont think it is a planner problem, If anyone has any Idea what is going on please help!! Thanks Matt

Also my planner blades have not been sharpened in a while if that matters but the seem do be cutting fine.

Hi Matt
Try running the board in the opposite direction. Sometimes grain orientation will do what you described.
