I have the older Kreg pocket jig that does not have the dust collection. Dose anybody have a home made option. I am tired of turning the piece over to drill the other end and getting hit with saw dust. Thanks for the help

One of the mags (I think it was Workbench) showed a tip using a piece of PVC with a cap on one end, and vac hooked to other. There was a cutout that fit over back of Kreg jig.

Mine has the factory dust port but I thought you might like to see this thread anyway. You're right, the vac is a good thing.

Don't have a pic, but I just drilled a hole the size of my vac hose in a piece of plywood and clamped it to the side of the Kreg. Works good, even without any additional housing. The first one I made a full housing for, but it was sized for 2x4 use. It was time consuming to make because of all the angles, so I tried just the one board with hole, and it worked just about as well, so I didn't bother with the rest of the housing. That was with just a small hose on the vac, so if you have a full sized shop vac, it would probably work even better.
