Does anyone have any advice on moving the switch on my unisaw to a more ergonomic location. Now it's in an awquard place that is hard to reach next to the cabinet on the right hand side. I would like for it to be under the fence rail on the left. Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Jake

jake, can't you just rebore the mounting holes on the rail or the cabinet?

I moved the switch to the left side and also added a knee-kick safety switch (yellow wrapped foam bar) that also turns off the saw. (my saw has low voltage control and switch)

Mine mounts to the underside of my Bies front rail on the left. Don't know what type of fence rails you have but drilling and tapping a couple holes is all it takes.

Nice post Alan. :D
Is it possible to post some more pics so I can figure out how to make one myself?

Thanks.

Here is another idea for a knee kick switch. I found this idea in some magazine several years ago, can't remember which one. They say memory is the first thing to go, I think.
