Wood Gloat, Part II

Awhile back I posted about some maple logs I picked up off of Freecycle. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=67334 Well, last Friday I took my trusty electric chainsaw to work and after everyone left at the end of the day I finally cut it to them. What I found was some of the nicer spalting I've seen first hand. I ended up with seven bowl blanks plus one other chunk that I'm not sure what I'll do with. When I went back there to clean up the mess this morning I found one chuck that may be worthy of a nice NE bowl and a couple of others that I may be able to find a use for. Not bad for a couple of hours work!
