Last year the Seahawks played at home on a Monday night and we had an evening commute snowstorm that dumped 8", I remember it well because I listened to the whole game on the car radio while driving home, 6 miles in 3 hours.
Later in the season they played on a Thursday night and we had a windstorm that knocked out power to much of the area for as long as two weeks in some case.
Tonight it's the Seahawks vs 49ers, and guess what? Already fallen trees and roads closed, some power outages overnight, and the worst is yet to come with 60mph+ gusts predicted 10am-4pm today. I'll be gassing up the generator as soon as it gets light outside.
