Interested in finding out how to adjust 12" Delta planer so that the rough cut board emerged level as I am getting 3/4" on one side and more or less on the off side. Tried pencil scribe across board but it does not disappear at same time. Temperature moderating to 0 degress Celsius up here. Can Spring be far behind!!!!

Sorry about delay. My planer is a 220-540C not all that new and perhaps the C shows it was sold in Canada altho' I am not sure about this, I am 2nd owner and do not have any literature. Delta perhaps just stuck a bilingual(french/english) decal on a standard machine from Taiwan. Thanks. Allan

I think you have the model number slightly messed up. I think it is a 22-540. It sounds like the blades are tilted. If the knives are set higher or lower at one side then the cut would not be even. Delta gives instruction on how to adjust the knives in the manual.

Delta offers owners manuals online. Got to here: Delta Manuals (http://www.deltawoodworking.com/index.asp?e=132) Just enter the model number 22-540 and you manual will be located as a pdf file.

Thanks gentllemen for your help. Do not have a manual so that your help fills a real void. Hope one day to be able to return the favour.
