This is a great jig saw (I was using it last night) at a great price, but it is not the "current" model (1590 EVSK). The 1587 is available in a various packages from some tool sellers, apparently in an attempt to reduce inventory.

The 1590 has an even better blade release mechanism and perhaps other improvements.
