I am looking for one of the new flush trim bits with the top and bottom bearings similar to this. http://www.toolmarts.com/flushtrim-ss6.html I want a 1/2 cutter bit that has a 1/2 inch shank. Checked Freud, whiteside, amana, MLCS, Woodline among others. All the 1/2 inch cutters I can locate come with a 1/4 inch shank and the bits with a 1/2 inch shank are a minimum 3/4 cutter. Anyone have a line on where I can find what I'm looking for? Like at least 1 1/4 inch cutter height.
Thanks Kindly,
Mike

The bearing which is in the middle of the bit --- it has an outer diameter of 1/2", so its inner diameter must be less, right? Yet it has to get to its position by passing over the 1/2" shank or the 1/2" cutters. Doesn't seem possible.

Seems all their 1/2 cutters have 1/4 inch shanks also. Maybe Jamie is correct in that its just not possible. Had not considered that but now that I think about it.......

thanks Gene but thats a 3/4 like the rest. Looks like it's a 1/4 inch shank for me. Not sure how bits are machined and assembled but looks like previous poster were right about not being available.
