Show your knife blocks please.

I'm making a cutting board and knife block set in maple and purpleheart for my cousin's wedding present. Has anyone made a knife block that you would care to show? I don't have one myself to use for reference, so something to go by would be handy. Thanks

I tried a search, but all I got were references to riving knives and jointer heads.
