The one blank is around 60" Dia, the other around 64" Dia

Yeah sure and that guy is actually 8' tall?? Not biting here!!:D
I really wish I had a lathe that would hold that! Well ok never mind. I don't have a back that could lift that, or a spine that would take standing in front of that spinning at 20 rpm!

I recommend going with a 1/8" homemade allen wrench scraper to hollow it out...:)

OK now where's the VB36 it's gonna take to turn that baby. I just got a dvd from the VB people today and one of the demos is a guy turning a Teak segmented bowl 5 feet in diameter and it's purring like a kitten.:D :D
