Hi,
I just bought the ($375) DW745 table saw, and the top is not completely flat - the back end of the table has a bow in it of about 1/16" . Is this ok? Should I return the saw? I might be able to shim it flat. I want to avoid the hassle of exchanging it and getting another one with the same problem. I am a hobbyist (e.g. jewelry boxes) and am mainly going to be using it with a crosscut sled, maybe some occassional ripping. The table top is aluminum.
p.s. I realize this is not a top-notch cabinet saw, so perhaps many table tops in this price range/saw type are similarly not completely flat.
tx,
Matt
