Bought it yesterday. Last week that had a small sale on power tools plus they had a 20% off if you buy 3 items, so I bought 2 garage clips for 3.99 ea and got the jointer for $542 and free shipping. I thought it was a good deal. Amazon has it for over $700.

Well done. I like the idea of using the clips for your other 2 items! I will definately remember that!
You will love having a jointer it will add a higher level of accuracy to your work...now you need a planer, a drum sander, a drill press, etc.
Once you start there is no turning back!
