I have been trying to find a site that has some kind of instructions on makeing a Bell ornament. Not just the bottem piece but the handle and all. Most of you can just look at most things and figure it out. So far that has not happened with me. Anyone know of anything?

Dennis,
I was going to suggest wood turning on line in the projects area, but when I checked it out, they didn't have anything. I'm really surprised. I've made a bell or two, but they weren't ornaments. I'd just get some scrap wood and give it a try. Just remember to keep the skirt of the bell flowing nicely, and drill a hole in the top end for the handle. Make your handle really simple to begin with, then when you get comfortable with the idea, get a little daring.

I know what you mean about trying to visualize things. I have that problem and I also have a heck of a time figuring out what to do with written instructions. I think my dyslexia kicks in.

Hopefully someone else can point you in the right direction.

Dennis I found this site when turning my bells. I do basically what he does but just a little different cause I made longer handles. I hope this is ok to post a site. http://www.rrosand.com/articles/18-4.html Here are a couple of the six I made. Sorry the pictures weren't better but took them for you in a hurry. Should give you some ideas. Hope it helps.

Hi Dennis,
I have a video on my website that shows a bell ornament being made.
It has a couple layers, but you can see the basics.
Hopefully this will help...
