I've built quite a few boxes to this point, but using simple lift lids or glued on rabbeted bottoms. I'm ready to do some more complex frame and panel lids, maybe some hinge work, and proper solid wood bottoms.
I would very much appreciate any tips on any of the above. In particular, gapless, profiled frame and panel lids, mitered lips, clean hinge work, and solid wood bottoms that won't tear the box apart come summer :)
Any pics or caveats would be much appreciated.....And, yes, I have Doug Stowe's book on boxes, thats a classic, but I find that he left many questions unanswered....
